We are delighted to congratulate Jeanet Luiten and Lub Gringhuis, who have been appointed Members of the Order of Orange-Nassau (Lid in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau) in recognition of their many years of dedicated service to Anglican Church Twente. The Royal Honours were presented by the Mayor of Hof van Twente, Ellen Nauta-van Moorsel, during a special ceremony at St Mary's Chapel.

For almost twenty years, Jeanet and Lub have been at the heart of our church community. Through their faithful commitment, leadership, and countless hours of voluntary service, they have helped Anglican Church Twente grow into the welcoming and vibrant community it is today.

Jeanet has served in many leadership roles over the years, helping to guide the church through times of transition, organising activities, and warmly welcoming visitors. Behind the scenes, Lub has faithfully supported the church through his work in finance, administration, communications, and technology—including enabling online services that kept our congregation connected during the pandemic. Together, they have also played a key role in organising our annual English Castle Fair, an event that has become a cherished tradition for both our church and the wider community.

This honour is a well-deserved recognition of their dedication, generosity, and faithful service—not only to our church family, but also to the wider community.

On behalf of everyone at Anglican Church Twente, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jeanet and Lub on this wonderful achievement.
