On Saturday mornings during Lent this year, we are following the Lent course “Celebrating Nicaea” which has been specially commissioned and written for chaplaincies in the Diocese in Europe. The Lent course looks at the history and development of the Nicene Creed and why it is so important for Christians. T
here are repeats of the Lent course on Monday evenings in our Zoom Evening Prayer sessions. The sessions, which are being led alternately by Jacque andSimone, are as follows:
Lenten Booklet “A Journey through Lent with Jesus”
The Lenten booklets prepared by our Chaplain with the title “A Journey through Lent with Jesus” have daily meditations based on readings from the Gospel according to John. Hard copies are available in the chapel.
Bishop Robert’s Lent Appeal 2025
The Bishop's Lent Appeal is to raise money to help refugees in Europe. This Lent, Bishop Robert is asking for help to continue the mission of the Diocese in Europe to provide safety, care, and hope to families displaced by war or other tragedies. The money raised will go towards four specific projects to offer support to refugees and asylum seekers and to help provide them with a source of light and hope. There will be adoor collectionfor the Bishop’s appeal on Mothering Sunday 30thMarch 2025.
Passover Meal (Friday 11 April)
There will be a Passover Meal at the Chaplain’s House on Friday 11thApril at 18:00. If you would like to attend, please put you name on the list in the Hut. If you are attending, a donation of 10 Euros is requested.
Saturday 12 April 2025 New Electoral Roll
Every six years, in accordance with the rules of the Church of England, we have to prepare a brand new Electoral Roll for the Chaplaincy. This year (2025) our electoral roll is due for renewal. In a year of renewal, everyone who would like to be on the Electoral Roll must make a new application to be included.

If you would like to be on the new Electoral Roll, please fill in the attached form and give it (or send it) toSimoneYallop (Electoral Roll Officer).
Hard copies of the form will continue to be available in church and in the Hut for the coming weeks.
All the forms need to be in by 12 April 2025 at the very latest.
The new roll comes into effect on 13thApril and will be frozen until after the AGM on 27thApril.
